Someone Kill Me Now

Still wallpaper left in the hallway and in the kitchen but the 5 layers are gone from the bedroom. I plan on trying to get as much of the paper in the kitchen stripped tomorrow that I can. Of course John's dad made a great discovery today with the living room ceiling so we need to wait till people come and look at it before we do any more work in the living room :/ So we are really just going to focus on the bedroom, and the bathroom to make them ready to move in on the ninth.

And even though I hate wallpaper, and every minute that I spend tearing and scrapping it off the walls I swear, we are going to be putting wallpaper back up. Of course this paper should be easy to take off if we need to and we can paint over it.

So haven't had much time to draw between ripping wallpaper down and working on immigration forms, but I am hopefully going to be back to drawing soon *crosses fingers*

  3. Sounds like a lot of hard work to me....and I am intrigued to know what could possibly be on a ceiling....But hey the satisfaction when you get it sorted will be great. When you get tired and achey, you have to remember that it will all be worthwhile in the end.....hope its coming along ok- ChrissyX

  4. yeah it is a lot of hard work. :/ the plot thickens about the flat. Starting to be a bit of a pain in the arse
but when it is done, it will look good.

  5. Lovely work, Jennifer! I hope there aren't any more dramas with your flat. What was the problem with the ceiling?

  6. Thanks :)

I hope there are not any more drama either. The living room ceiling had a few areas where the plaster was lifting away, so we couldn't paint or decorate in the room in case the paint fell off or the cracks became worse and fell on everything. More of a pain than anything, but did prevent us from moving into the room as everything would have had to come right back out :/
