January 25th Photos

Another rainy cold day. The birds look fed up with it too :p

Not much food left on the table now lol

I have to try to remember there are shelves above my desk now or you might be getting a blog post from the hospital :p hmm haven't had stitches in my head yet. Stitches in my thumb though when I cut it with a mat comb for dogs. That hurt and with having von willebrands it took a few hours to stop bleeding before we thought I should go get stitches. All I really remember is mom's partner taking the stitches out for me in the bar :p Its odd that I can remember that it was a black miniature poodle's tail I was trying to de-mat but can't seem to remember what I did this morning :p

  2. I normally have a good memory (if not a little disjointed lol :p). stupid meds *angry face* it is cool though how something really small can trigger a memory and sometimes the trigger has hardly anything to do with the memory lol

they were very loud, could hear them with the windows closed :p

  3. Great picture of the bird-its got its head cocked like it is trying to figure out what you are doing.

I know what you mean about memories. Half the time I can't remember what day it is, but am often flooded with such vivid memories from long ago.

  5. Ouch! Watch that shelf. I have one like it and have attacked it with my head several times.
Those birds do look a little disgruntled with the rain..or maybe they're just having a bad bird day.

  6. Love the irridescence in the bird's feathers -- he looks like he's watching you watching him.

  7. Ouch! I use to type for a hematologist and remember hearing about von willebrand's.

I think, for me, it has to be something that brought out emotion, for me to remember it anymore!

but then I forget that too.

  8. I do have to wonder sometimes at what the birds think of the odd people staring at them lol

-22! it was 4C today so def. not missing that cold lol. but I would love snow :)

lol I think it was a bad bird day. They all looked pissed off :p

If only birds had cameras, would make for interesting photos for everyone lol

My aunt had von willebrands really bad. the smallest cut and she had to go to the hospital. she kept the clotting meds in her fridge just in case.

Nice bird photo's, seems you and I have the blackbirds and the others get the colorful pretty one's. I have the same memory loss as the rest of you, sometimes I can't remember how to spell a simple word and have to google it to make sure I spell it right.

  12. Ouch! No more stitches! (shudder).

The birds here seem pretty oblivious to most of the weather (although the chickens are irritated at the frozen ground and snowcovered greenery).

  13. Love your bird table. That looks really nice, and as a fellow birder love these pics & story.
Caught your update of the owl on twitter--cool. I haven't heard an owl for a long time.
