Mr.F got a picture of the blue tit that isn't just one small little blur :) Other then that, I have nothing to write about :p So enjoy your evening/night/day and I will be back tomorrow with some art and hopefully the blog post about supports I've used coloured pencils on that I've mentioned (been try to find examples of art to go with what is written)

    He is darling! I don't think we have those here. I wish. Mostly boring birds at my feeders. I love those round suet balls, but the birds are currently ignoring them (too many bugs and yummy things about to eat right now), and they are *molding*! :-P

    That rhody in your previous post is an amazing color! Wow. Love it.
    (and I'll bet I'd tie you with scars! though a bunch of mine aren't nearly so interesting - lots of gardening encounters...)

    I don't know if you get blue tits there or not (I should look up and see where they do live :) )The birds love the suet balls here, the rooks even come down to eat them. Of course when they show up they eat all of them within minutes :p

This weeks colours for The Summer of Color are 2 purples and a yellow and this is what I did with them. Not my favorite colours so really racked my brain trying to think how I could use them and which bird to use. Decided to go with a juvenile Golden Eagle since I don't have any photos of a purple bird :p I think I prefer the black background, the yellow seems to stand out more against it. Which do you prefer?
