Sleeping Beauty

Well for the moment at least :p She is like the energizer dog. 5 minutes of sleep and then she is back to jumping around like she ate a 5 pound bag of sugar. lol her feet are a little green from skidding to a stop in the park chasing her ball (and a pop bottle in the background, cheap toy :p)

And another small update on the Halloween dragons :) As much as I love doing my dragons, I really want to get back to realism soon so am trying to get this finished, but also trying not to rush, which is almost impossible anyway when using coloured pencils :p

    Does she run and yip in her sleep? Hunters legs are always going when he's dozing.

    sandi, thanks :) her feet twitch a lot when she is sleeping and I think she has had a few nightmares as she wakes up freaked out and barking :/

Summer of Colour #3

This weeks colours for The Summer of Color are 2 purples and a yellow and this is what I did with them. Not my favorite colours so really racked my brain trying to think how I could use them and which bird to use. Decided to go with a juvenile Golden Eagle since I don't have any photos of a purple bird :p I think I prefer the black background, the yellow seems to stand out more against it. Which do you prefer?
