Robin Hood Bay

Another drawing for the Virtual Paintout. Quick ink drawing of Robin Hood Bay, love the name :) I love my ink pens, should probably use them more as I am very quick with them and don't focus so much on detail.

I've been wanting to start doing ACEOs again, so started with something simple :p A Peacock feather on black paper.

Drenched again due to these clouds...
but at least there was a pretty rainbow after all the friggin rain :p

    I've been lurking all along, but it's about time I said 'hi'. Love the ink pens, and yes, Robin Hood Bay did catch my attention.
    The two photos (before and after?) tell a tale. Lovely

    I love the bay and the name. A man named Robin Hood lived behind us at our shack. Why would you name your son that??( Or Paul McCartney- I went to school with the non-famous one!!)
    Lovely rainbow, hope there was a pot of gold??

This weeks colours for The Summer of Color are 2 purples and a yellow and this is what I did with them. Not my favorite colours so really racked my brain trying to think how I could use them and which bird to use. Decided to go with a juvenile Golden Eagle since I don't have any photos of a purple bird :p I think I prefer the black background, the yellow seems to stand out more against it. Which do you prefer?
