  1. Yum, blackberries! We pick them here along the roadside fences, about mid-november. I used to have boysenberries growing in my garden - then had to net them because the currawongs and the bowerbirds were helping themselves to the big plump berries (who could blame them?). Then the vines went beserk and suckered everywhere and took over the whole veggie garden! It took us ages to get rid of them.

    1. these are in the front yard, close to the road so the birds tend to stay away :) starting to take over the front path tho :p

  2. Oh yum. Was not a great year for them, and the best patches, as usual, heavilly guarded by poison ivy.

    1. small front garden, but tons of berries. lots of blueberries and some blackberries, the plants are getting a bit big tho, almost like trying to avoid triffids walking down the path :p

  3. Evil blackberries, they will not die and they are so prickly. The taste yummy, but whoever imported them here should be rolled nekkid in a blackberry patch!!!
