Weekly Book Review
Uni has been so bust I have only been able to finish one graphic novel, but have a lot being read at the moment that I should finish soon.
B.P.R.D., Vol. 1: Hollow Earth and Other Stories by Mike Mignola
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
The art suits the story, which was interesting enough to keep me reading. There is one well done scene with Liz as a kid that is done particularly well, good job at showing how scared and alone she was/is. Not a place to start reading the comics tho if you have not read any previous Hellboy comics or seen the movies, you will have no idea what is going on. Nice to have the focus on the other characters more and what is going on in their heads.
