Finished Toucan

Finished and dry toucan done on Yupo paper. This turned into a little experiment in how the markers would react when sprayed with a lot of fixative, enough to soak the image. Allowed me to move the markers around with a brush and created a graffiti look, which I like a lot actually.

The closeups remind me of outerspace, very pretty.

  7. As someone who loves texture, I'm loving the look of this - all those ripples and ridges and granulations make this very appealing :) Do you like working on the Yupo?

Rhonda, I actually do like working on Yupo, as long as I just let it do what it wants and not try to fight it into doing what i want lol

  9. Love THIS!!
You are really being free with the layering of the colors and I love what you said to Rhonda - not to fight Yupo and let it do what it wants. Great advice and so true.
