Happy Dragon
The start of a happy looking dragon. My dragons start out happy but then turn out grumpy so this one might very well end up the same way lol.
Started an etching today of a peregrine falcon. The eye still needs work to round it out but their eyes look pretty much black, so not a huge amount of shading to do, just make it black, easy. This has a lot of floofy feathers in it, so will probably take awhile to do unless we get some sun and I can spend all day outside working on it. I know its Scotland and it is grey and rainy a lot, but some sun would be nice.

ReplyDeleteReally enjoy seeing how you approach your projects. Looking forward to hearing / seeing more.
ReplyDeleteYour comment about your dragons starting off happy but ending up grumpy = I think that would be me if I had to draw with an injury, as you are still doing! You go, girl, you are amazing in your determination to succeed and keep going :). Love the eye - fierce and strong.
ReplyDeleteGreat works in progress, Lisa. Looking forward to seeing more of that dragon.

ReplyDeleteSurely that is a dragon's lot: they start out happy, meet St George and it's all down hill to grumpiness from there. Oh we have lots of sun, sun and then impenetrable fog. Take your pick!!
ReplyDeletethanks Lisa :)
ReplyDeletelol Cindy, very true. still grey today :/
I love your dragon beginnings--and that eye is stunning. My dragons have a hard time looking mean or scary. LOL I like your dragons. They are powerful. :D
